Summer Schedule

Color Guard

-The full color guard will rehearse once a week throughout the summer.  It is imperative that all members are at these rehearsals.  Without a great guard we don’t have a great show.

-Rifles only:                Every Monday in June and July         (4pm-8pm)

-Full Color Guard:      Every Tuesday in June and July         (4pm-8pm)

-Guard Workshop       June 11^th                                              (10am-4pm)

-Guard Camp:             July 26-30                                           (8am-12pm)

-Guard/Band Camp:   August 2-10                                        (8am-5pm)

Percussion

-The Marching and Front Ensemble Percussion will meet once a week throughout the summer to get started on warm-ups and the show music.  The nature of marching band demands that the percussion have twice the amount of time on the music than the winds.  The summer practices are essential for the success of the whole band.

Battery and Front:      Every Tuesday in June and July (1pm-5pm)

Percussion/Band Camp:

                                    July 26 & 27   Leadership only           (8am-5pm)

                                    July 28-30       Leadership and freshmen        (8am-5pm)

                                    August 2-10    Full Band                    (8am-5pm)

Brass/Woodwinds

-The winds will have four summer rehearsals throughout the summer leading into band camp.  We need every minute of rehearsal that we can get in order to insure the success of the show and band program.  All members of the brass and woodwinds (9-12 grades) are to be at all rehearsals.  This is how we determine spots for the show and modify the music before the full camp starts.

Brass/Woodwind:       Every Thursday starting July 1^st-July 22^nd.  (8:30am-12:30pm)

July 26 & 27                Leadership only                                            (8am-5pm)

July 28-30                   Leadership and freshmen                              (8am-5pm)

August 2-10                Full Band                                                      (8am-5pm)

Band camp will culminate with a performance for the parents and community at 7pm on August 10^th at the stadium.  Burgers/dogs/chips and drinks will be provided by the Band Boosters
